Plesk Hosting Starter Guide

So you have just bought your first Plesk web hosting plan, below are useful and common articles that will help you get setup in minutes:

A.) Login to your Plesk control panel
Visit https://yourdomainname.com:8443 to login to your Plesk panel (replace yoyrdomainname.com with your actual domain name). Use the username and password sent to you in the mail with the subject "New Account Information".

B.) Publish your website

Option 1: Import your existing website from another hosting account into your new Plesk hosting account (if you have an existing website)
Follow the instructions in the link below to import your website from anywhere it is hosted even if it is not a Plesk hosting. Your files, folders, applications and databases will be copied over the internet into your new Plesk account:

You can also import your existing email accounts and their content from any other control panel into your Plesk hosting by following the instructions in the link below.

Option 2: Upload Your Website content from your computer using the file manager
Follow the instructions on the link below to upload your website files using the Plesk file manager.

Option 4: Host a Node.js application
Follow the instructions in the link below to host your node.js app on your Plesk hosting.

C.) Email accounts

1. Create email accounts follow the instructions in this link: https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/administrator-guide/website-management/quick-start-with-plesk/set-up-mail-accounts/1-create-mail-account.69277/ 

2. To access webmail directly, follow these steps:

  1. Use your web browser to go to https://webmail.example.com, where example.com represents your domain name.
  2. On the webmail login page, type the username and password for the e-mail account you want to access. For the username, you must type the complete e-mail address (for example, user@example.com). You cannot type just user.
